Determining Media Attendance Before and After Track Action

Grand Prix weekends balance pre-arranged media appearances with sessions reserved purely for on-track performance. Ahead of the 2026 event in Austin, the FIA outlined its schedule across four days, setting specific speaking obligations for team representatives and drivers while leaving post-session rooms open for the fastest performers.

For team personnel appearing ahead of track running at the United States GP: Newey, McNish and Budkowski were listed to represent Aston Martin, Audi and Cadillac during Friday's allocated window between practice sessions. In contrast, driver media sessions on Thursday featured six pre-selected competitors, whereas subsequent media rooms on Saturday and Sunday remained unnamed in advance, dictated strictly by the top three qualifiers and race podium finishers.
